The StratOp Process has been developed and deployed for over 50 years and has helped hundreds of teams – from startups to billion-dollar organizations – discover purposeful impact.

The Paterson Strategic Operations (StratOp) process will help your team understand their unique design and values and help them gain clarity on how they fit within the broader vision and mission of your organization.

StratOp weaves together every aspect of your organization – the strategic, the operational, and the financial – and includes input from each person on your team, creating a tangible sense of unity and buy-in. We believe in the Socratic approach of guiding through asking great questions; this leads to discovery and ownership.

While many strategic planning processes put a value on speed – solving a problem in the fastest way possible – the StratOp Process places a higher value on gaining clear perspective before creating the plan. When guided to clear perspective across all areas of your organization, you are able to arrive at the best possible course of action and to drive a plan to execution. Once we have clear perspective, the plan comes together quickly, and the entire team is set up for success in executing it.

The StratOp Process

Each leadership team member will go through a facilitator-guided deep dive into all their life (personal, family, faith, vocation, and community). Over two full days, the Certified Guide will use proven tools and questions to lead your team to a clear perspective and the discovery of truth. Each team member will create a plan and a map to move towards your desired future vision.

After this guided 2-day process, there will be a monthly check-in for each team member as well as a monthly or quarterly “All leadership team huddle” to continue building upon the principles that are exposed in the StratOp® process as well as invest in spiritual and organizational values within the team. 

At the 6-month mark, there will be an in-person ½ day StratOp® “Check-In” for each team member.

At the 1-year mark, there will be a 1-day StratOp® “Refresh” for each team member.
